Preserving Lapinlahti is not only our responsibility, but our privilege.
The Lapinlahti Foundation was established in 2023 with a mission to preserve Helsinki’s Lapinlahti’s historical and cultural significance. We fundraise to protect the cultural heritage of Lapinlahti and to support on-going mental well-being and inclusive cultural activities in Lapinlahti. In doing so, the Foundation safeguards the true essence of Lapinlahti, not only by supporting the invaluable activities and operations at Lapinlahti but also preserving the cultural heritage.
Lapinlahti is more than just a location; it is a living symbol of our shared history and resilience. It has been a place where countless individuals have found hope, healing, and a sense of belonging. Every story told and every step taken within Lapinlahti reverberates with the strength of those who came before, ensuring that future generations will continue to draw inspiration from its legacy.
In times of changing funding and uncertainty, the Lapinlahti Foundation stands as a crucial supporter in preserving the activities that breathe life into this cultural heritage. Every donation, no matter the size, makes a significant difference in keeping Lapinlahti’s doors open to all who seek solace, culture, and community.
